Traffic congestion in Guwahati on March 18, 19

Guwahati: Traffic will be disrupted on March 18 and 19 as star political figures Siddhartha Bhattacharya and Himanta Biswa Sarma will file their nomination. Apart from the two, many other candidates will also file their nomination with huge rallies.

The Guwahati traffic police have appealed the public not to ply though the MG Road. The DCP has issued new guide routes for the city residents.

People coming from Maligaon will have to take a U-turn and go through AT road. On the other hand, people entering Guwahati from Saraighat will have to access through the national highway.
