Ranjit Dass submits nomination from Patacharkuchi

Guwahati: BJP state President Ranjit Kumar Dass filed his nomination from the Patacharkuchi constituency. He was accompanied by CM Sarbananda Sonowal and BJP National Vice President Baijayant Panda.

Dass was elected as the MLA from Sorbhog constituency in barpeta district in 2011. However, the party fielded him from the Patacharkuchi constituency instead.

The state President is pitted against Shantanu Sarma who will contest on a Congress ticket from the Patacharkuchi constituency.
