Daughter of Pro-talk ULFA Leader Anup Chetia Alias Golap Baruah and Monika Baruah, got married amidst Durga Puja Festivities

The wedding Ceremony took Place in Presence of the Bride and Groom’s Families in Jerai Village under the Chabua Assembly Constituency in Dibrugarh District, Assam. It is Learnt that Banya Baruah has got married to a Bangladeshi Youth Namely Anirban Choudhury, who is Currently settled in Australia. He originally hails from the Comilla District of Bangladesh. This interesting Love story began when Pro-Talk ULFA Leader Anup Chetia and his Family went into hiding in Bangladesh. The Newly wedded couple met each other while they were Studying at the Mastermind International School in Dhanmondi, Bangladesh. Meanwhile, a reception Ceremony has also been arranged by the Groom’s side at ISKCON Temple in Melbourne, Australia in the Presence of his Family and friends in the Month of November 2022. It may be mentioned that Pro-Talk Leader Golap Baruah Alias Anup Chetia was handed Over by Bangladesh to India in the year 2015. He had spent 18 Years in Bangladesh Jail. He was Arrested on December 21, 1997, in Dhaka. Thereafter, he was Released from Guwahati Central Jail after obtaining Bail in Four Cases Registered against him. Since then Chetia has been the key negotiator of Peace with New Delhi. Chetia founded the ULFA in 1979 with Five other Leaders, including the outfit’s Commander- In-Chief Paresh Baruah who is Now believed to be hiding somewhere in China or Myanmar, having escaped Bangladesh earlier.
