Modi accepts Biden’s invitation for Leaders’ Summit

New Delhi: US President Joe Biden has invited PM Narendra Modi to the upcoming Leaders’ Summit on Climate to discuss key climate issues in the context of the COP26 meet.

The Leaders’ Summit will be held virtually on April 22 and April 23 this year.

At an online media briefing, Modi said that he welcomed the President’s initiative and accepted his invitation.
President Biden has invited 40 world leaders, including PM Modi to a US-hosted virtual summit on climate to underscore the urgency and the economic benefits of stronger climate action.
