Himanta promises nursing schools in Rangapara
Guwahati: State Finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took a dig at the Congress by stating that BJP doesn’t guarantee because only shopkeepers give guarantee. He said, “From now on, I am responsible for the development of the Rangapara constituency”. The remarks were made by the Sarma during his campaign for BJP candidate Krishna Kamal Tanti.
Himanta added that the he will provide the constituency with a BSC nursing and GNM nursing school if BJP wins from Rangapara. The minister further added that an engineering college will be set up at Rangapara.
Sarma also planned to increase the Arunodaya scheme money from Rs 830 to Rs 3000. He also said that tea garden labourers would be provided with Rs 2000 per head instead of Rs 1000.
