“Don Bosco School’s Annual Day 2023: A Celebration of Heritage and Talent”

Guwahati’s Don Bosco School recently illuminated its campus with a burst of colors and cultural fervor during its Annual Day celebrations held on November 23 and 24, 2023. The two-day extravaganza brought together students, faculty, and esteemed guests, marking a memorable event in the school’s calendar.

The chosen theme for this year’s celebration was “Heritage,” a deliberate nod to the rich cultural and historical tapestry that defines the nation. Fr. Sebastian Mathew, the Principal of Don Bosco School, expressed the school’s deep pride in the country’s heritage, explaining, “We are proud of our national heritage, so we have kept our theme as heritage.”

The inaugural day saw the esteemed presence of Lakhan Lal Meena, the regional officer of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), as the Chief Guest. His presence added a touch of significance to the event, emphasizing the school’s commitment to academic excellence.

The cultural program unfolded with sections A and B, ranging from kindergarten to class 11, taking center stage. The exception was class 10, who, immersed in their board exams, gracefully stepped aside.
