Himanta Biswa Sarma to take oath as Assam’s 15th CM today

Guwahati: Assam’s senior BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma who was elected as the leader of the Newly-elected MLAs of the party, will take charge as the 15th Chief Minister of Assam on Monday.

Governor Jagdish Mukhi invited him to be sworn in after Sarma in after met him Sunday. Sarma will be administered the oath of office by the Governor on Monday at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra at 12 noon.
