10.51% voter turnout at second phase assembly election till 9:30 a.m.

New Delhi/ Guwahati: Assam recorded a voter turnout of 10.51% till 9:30 a.m. across 39 constituencie3s in 13 districts during the second phase of the sate assembly polls, as per data by the Election Commission (EC).

The Diphu constituency has witnessed the highest voting percentage with a voter turnout of 17.20% till 9:20 a.m. while the Morigaon and Laharighat constituencies witnessed the lowest voting percentage with a voter turnout of just 6%.

The second phase of polling for assembly elections in the states of West Bengal and Assam began at 7 a.m. on Thursday and is currently underway.
