Topon Gogoi tests COVID positive for second time

Guwahati: BJP MP Topon Kumar Gogoi tested COVID positive for the second time. The MP who represents Jorhat constituency has tested positive on Friday evening.

Gogoi had tested positive for COVID-19 on September last year and had administered plasma at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital(GMCH). The MP was scheduled to participate in the election rally at Chabua to be addressed by PM Narendra Modi today.

The sudden surge in COVID-19 cases in the country has created panic among the citizens and the government has issued guidelines to control the pandemic.
