Hima disqualified, Dutee in second place

Patiala: Ace sprinter Hima das was disqualified after a false start in a much-anticipated women’s 100m sprint final at the Federation Cup Senior National Athletics Championship.

On the other hand, Tamil Nadu’s S Dhanalakshmi beat national record holder Dutee Chand to bag the 100 m gold.

However, the much-awaited match did not live up to the expectations as Hima was shown the red card, while Dutee and Dhanalakshmi did not come anywhere near the Olympic mark of 11.15 seconds.
