Congress released a list of 21 candidates

Guwahati: The Congress came out with lists of candidates for elections for the upcoming state polls, including 21 for the Assam Assembly elections on Tuesday.

With this, the party has announced the candidates for 92 seats in Assam. The Assam  assembly polls will begin in three phase on March 27, April 1 and 6.

The candidates are Wazed Ali Choudhury, Abdus Ali Sarkar, Shankar Prasad Ray, Abdul Khandakar, Pradip Sarkar, Jadab Swargiary, Abdul Kalam Rashid Alam, Md. Abdul Rashid Mandal, Aftab Uddin Mollah, Santanu Sarma, Sherman Ali Ahmed, Jakir Hussain Sarkar, Sukur Ali Ahmed, Smt. Nandita Das, Rekibuddin Ahmed, Jatin Mali, Romen Ch. Borthakur, Manjit Mahanta, Smt. Ashima Bordoloi, Diganta Barman and Ratul Patowary.
