Digital Desk: Actor Ayushmann Khurrana yesterday shared a photo of his GQ cover, where he can be seen sporting nail polish and kohl. Captioned as: “Gender Fluid,”…For @gqindia: Photographer: @thehouseofpixels Stylist: @selman_fazil Hair: @mohdjaved7639 for @aalimhakim Make-up: @hinaldattani.”
After that some people have criticizing Ayushmann for wearing fashion that is traditionally not worn by males. While some think that Ayushmann ‘wearing kohl and nail paint’ doesn’t amount to being gender fluid. Others argued that the hate for the actor is ‘unnecessary.’
For those unaware, a person whose gender identity is not fixed is called gender fluid. It can change over time or from day to day basis too and is a form of gender identity or gender expression, rather than sexual orientation. Gender-fluid fashion, however, is basically the style and fashion that isn’t limited by the traditional classification of menswear and womenswear. And, it promotes the idea that any outfit can be worn by men or women.
