Guwahati: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and NEDA convener Dr. Himanata Biswa Sarma addressed a public gathering in Assam’s Nalbari today. Sarma was seen campaigning for Jayanta Malla Baruah who is contesting from 59 Nalbari L.A.C under BJP’s banner.
“Nalbari’s development has always been important for our govt. Renovation of schools and tackling the flood problem are our priorities. Our candidate Shri @jayanta_malla will work wholeheartedly for Nalbari’s development. @AssamElections2021,” tweeted Himanta.
Jayanta Malla Baruah is the former chairman of Assam Tourism Development Corporation (ATDC). Baruah joined BJP in 2015 and is contesting on a BJP ticket from the Nalbari constituency.
