Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address a rally in Assam’s Chabua and West Bengal’s Kharagpur. The mega rallies are scheduled to be held at 11:15 a.m. at Kharagpur and 2:30 p.m. at Chabua. The PM is going to held public rallies as a part of BJP’s campaign in the upcoming assembly elections.
Taking to Twitter, the PM wrote, ” Will be in Assam and West Bengal tomorrow and the day after. Tomorrow, 20th March, I would be speaking at rallies in Kharagpur (WB) and Chabua (Assam). Will elaborate on BJP’s development agenda during my speeches. It is clear both states want to elect NDA in the upcoming polls.”
Elections in the Assam Legislative Assembly will be held in three phases: March 27, April 1 and 6.
